You’re residency-trained and either board-eligible or board-certified, ideally in emergency medicine. For our rural sites, we also accept board certifications in internal medicine or family medicine, as long as you also have significant experience in emergency medicine.
You excel in dynamic environments. You know how to effectively move an emergency department while keeping your patients educated about their treatment course and satisfied with their care at all stages of a visit.
You’re savvy with technology and have a high level of comfort with electronic medical records. If you aren’t already proficient, you need to have a strong desire to learn and constantly improve. We’ll help you get there.
You’re looking for an alternative to traditional physician groups. You value equity as well as making a difference. You want to become the kind of provider your parents or children would happily visit.
You’re hungry for increasing the efficiency of every process you touch and open to uncommon ways of doing things. You adapt well to change.

- Other nationally-recognized leadership development programs in emergency medicine and business management

Become a Leader
You can pursue a variety of leadership roles as you grow with Innova, from directing an emergency department in a new facility to accepting greater oversight of our existing hospitals. When you assume a role in running the business, you can expect to earn fair equity partnership for your efforts. But if that’s not your thing don’t worry, pursue as much leadership responsibility as you want. If you want to work your shifts and provide amazing care without the additional administrative responsibilities, that’s great too.
